We collect the information needed to sell and deliver data-only eSIMs, including your email address, selected plan, payment status, order details, device and browser basics, and support messages you choose to send.

We do not ask for travel documents to browse plans or complete a standard eSIM order unless required by law, a carrier or fulfillment partner, payment review, fraud prevention, or sanctions screening.

We use your information to process checkout, deliver eSIM activation details, prevent abuse, provide support, handle refunds or failed orders, and improve site reliability.

Order emails are used for delivery and service updates related to your purchase.

If you tick the box to get travel deals from eSIM Japan by email (at checkout, after a purchase or in your account), we use your email address to send you offers and news from eSIM Japan. If you bought from us before, we may also email you about similar products. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and we stop as soon as you use it.

If you also turn on “Personalized offers” in our cookie settings, then while you're signed in we note which plans you look at, so our emails can suggest those destinations. We keep these views for 90 days, use them only for the emails you agreed to, and never share or sell them. You can turn this off in cookie settings at any time.

We send these emails through our email provider, which handles your address on our behalf, and we record bounces, spam reports and unsubscribes so we never email an address that asked us to stop.

Card and crypto payments are handled by payment providers. eSIM Japan does not store full card numbers or private wallet keys.

Payment records may include transaction identifiers, confirmation status, asset type, amount, and timestamps so orders can be matched to eSIM delivery.
